    The answer would be C. If there is a series of objects (for example lines), we are inclined to perceive objects that are close together as a group. Best example for this is the logo of IBM. The short line of the I are close together, which has greater spaces between the "B" and "M" and the crevice in the "M." Therefore, we see the "I" as a unit.

    The Gestalt principle of proximity states that objects and shapes form groups if they are close to one another. The shapes, sizes, and objects do not matter in this case even when there are visible differences.

    The law shows that smaller elements come together in a composition. Elements become more meaningful in this case. Arranging words into sentences is a verbal example of the law.
