Cellphones emit radio frequency radiation that is known to penetrate the human body. This is a type of electromagnetic radiation and the human body absorbs this kind of energy. There is only a limited amount of the absorbed radiation before it is considered dangerous. Since cellphones are mostly utilized by placing them next to the ears, there is a higher risk of having brain tumors. According to the Interphone Study, longer usage of cellphone puts the user at forty percent more risk of having gliomas, a deadly malignant tumor that can be found in the brain or spinal cord.
