Temporal isolation vs geographical isolation

Temporal isolation is when a group of things are separated due to harmful weather conditions. Geographical isolation is when things such as a mountain or ocean (lake, etc.) are blocking the path to get to a certain place.

Temporal isolation: it means "isolated in time" so this is a mechanism that prevents species from mating because they breed at different times.

Geographical isolation: it refers to a population of animals, plants, or other organisms that are separated from exchanging genetic material with other organisms of the same species.
