A client who just returned from a cardiac catheterization reports to the nurse that the pressure bandage on the right groin is tight. what action should the nurse take?

    The nurse should assess the pulses that are distal to the dressing. This is necessary in order to assess the regularity, strength and rate of the pulses. A strong pulse reflects a good perfusion status. If the pulse is weak, that means that circulation is been hindered.
