Assume that a dihybrid cross is made in which the two genes are autosomal and independently assorting. each gene has two alleles which show incomplete dominance. how many different phenotypes would be expected in the offspring?

    There will be nine (9) different phenotype would be expected in the offspring. E ach gene is incompletely dominant each possible genotype would be a distinct phenotype. There should be 9 distinct phenotypes (one per distinct genotypes). Note there are 4^2 = 16 possible genotypes, however, some repeat for phenotypical expression.
