    The greater the extent to which niches overlap of species the stronger the competition between them. Paramecium aurelia uses available resources

    Explanation:

    The competitive exclusion principle have two types of single celled organism present inside. With this type of experiment it is shown clearly about the competitive nature of same species where their qualities tend to overlap. It is not a common case between the two. It is rare that there are two species of same type in nature which is present. Paramecium aurelia and Paramecium caudatum when grown individually tend to thrive but in case of same test tube for nutrition Paramecium aurelia wins leading to extinction of other.
