The value of x = 4
Explanation:
RS = 4 (x-3) + 6
= 4x-12+6
= 4x-6
RT = 5 (2x-6)
= 10x-30
Showing left hand side is equal to right hand side.
4x-6 = 10x-30
Divide both left hand side and right hand side by 2, we get:
2x-3 = 5x-15
Rearrange both the sides
-3+15 = 5x-2x
12 = 3x
x = 4
Thus, the value of x is 4
