Prophase - At this stage the chromatin condenses into chromosome, the nuclear membrane disappear, the nucleus and the cytoplasm condenses and the spindle fibre begins to form

Metaphase - The chromosome moves across the equator to metaphase plate and it is joined and hold together by force from microtubles. The Chromosome are visible at the metaphase.

Anaphase - the kinetochore microtubles condenses and the sister chromatid seperate moving to opposite side of the pole.

Telophase - The chromosome reaches the opposite end of the pole and unfold to make the chromatid visible.

The nuclear membrane is formed, the cytoplasm divides into two daughter cell with equal number of chromosome as the parent. This is called cytokinesis
