The manufacturer of the chocolate mint cookies changed the ingredients of its cookies. Each serving now has 1 gram of saturated fat (4 fewer grams), 4 grams of trans fat (4 more grams), 21 grams of carbohydrates (1 fewer gram), and 11 grams of protein (no change). Do you think that the manufacturer made these cookies healthier?

    The manufacturer did not make the cookies healthier.

    Explanation:

    Even though the saturated fat was lessened, it is still not good for the body as it can increase the risk of heart diseases by having more harmful low-density-lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol that can block blood vessels in the body. Furthermore, increasing the amount of trans fat just made the cookies unhealthier. Trans fats are not good for the body as it also further increases LDL cholesterol level.
