A vector is something that act as carrier. In biology, vector are those organisms which carries disease causing microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses etc. The vector may be insects like mosquitoes, ants and cockroach etc. Mosquitoes carries disease causing agent such as plasmodium which is responsible for the causing of malarial disease.
Cockroach carries many harmful bacteria and causes many diseases.
