    Explanation:

    Not 100% sure but strongly believe option D should be correct, if not then B. Homeostasis mechanisms would be my second bet.

    I say D because our body has feedback loops which keep everything in check and they are responsible for turning on or off certain things in our body. You probably have heard of Negative and Positive feedback loops those are what I am referring to as they are the main mechanisms which control the homeostatis thus D is my best bet.
