In pea plants flower color is a completely dominant trait with purple flowers being dominant to white flowers. Based on this if you crossed two pure bred flowers, one white and one purple, what would be the expected probability of phenotypes in the F2 generation?

A. 75% purple 25% white

B. 25% purple 75% white

C. 50% purple 50% white

D. 100% purple 0% white
