How is anaphase 2 similar to anaphase in mitosis?

    Anaphase 2 is pretty much the same as in mitosis, except this time, it's being done for a second time.

    In mitosis one cell duplicates and separates into two diploid cells

    but in meiosis, everything is done twice (which splits everything in half again) to make four new haploid cells.
