The answer is Global climate would be significantly affected. Themohaline circulation plays an important role in global climate. Thermohaline circulation is the flux of ocean waters and surface currents that are related with three gradient of densities. The density of sea water is determined by the content of salt. The currents of wind on the surface and of water in the oceans transport matter and energy, which translates into heat transfer; thi is the reason of the impact of the circulation on the climate. It is thought that changes in thermoline circulation will cause changes in polar sea ice, changes in Earth's radiation, changes in the concentration of carbon dioxide, and, consequently, changes in temperatures.
