How might conditions on earth be different if solar energy could not change form

Well there wouldn't be any life because solar energy gives the plantes to grow and with out plants there would be no oxygen to breath ... etc ... there is more this is just one of them

If solar energy could not change form, then we would not be able to see life as it is today. There would be no source of energy and there would be no life.
