    Total interest cost Plan 1 = 2 * 0.10 * $1,030,000 = $206,000

    Under plan 2 = 0.0675 * $1,030,000 + 0.1155 * $1,030,000 = $69525+$118965 = $188,490

    Plan 2 is less costly.
