(1) Converting kPa into atm:
The conversion flow will go as follows:
step 1: 1 KPa = 1000 Pa
step 2: 1 Pa = 9.86923x 10^-6 atm
Therefore:
1 x 10^5 KPa = 1 x 10^5 x 1000 = 100 x 10^6 Pa
100 x 10^6 Pa = 100 x 10^6 x 9.86923 x 10^-6 = 986.923 atm
(2) Converting atm to mmHg then KPa:
The conversion flow will go as follows:
step 1: 1 atm = 760 mmHg
step 2: 1 mmHg = 0.133322387415 KPa
Therefore:
5.914 x 10^-6 atm = 5.914 x 10^-6 x 760 = 4.49464 x 10^-3 mmHg
4.49464 x 10^-3 mmHg = 4.49464 x 10^-3 x 0.133322387415
= 5.99236 x 10^-4 KPa
