How does saliva maintain the pH of the mouth after bacteria produce acid from the carbohydrates we've consumed?

    Bacteria in your mouth break down the carbohydrates you consume, which releases lactic acidosis, butryic acid and aspartic acid which lowers the pH level of your saliva
