The PVT behavior of a certain gas is described by the equation of state: P (? - ?) = ? T, where? is a constant. If in addition c? is constant, show that: (a) ? is a function of T only. (b) ? = const. (here,? is the ratio of specific heats) (c) For a mechanically reversible process, P (? - ?) ? = const.

PV = nRT, where R is a constant. If in addition P is constant, show that: (a) V is a function of T only. (b) n = const. (here, γ=Cp/Cv) is the ratio of specific heats. (c) For a mechanically reversible process, P (V-b) ^γ = const.
