1.5 L of gas held under 1.0 atm, has the pressure increased to 303.9kPa, what is the new volume of the gas, if the temperature is held constant.

    P1V1=P2V2

    Convert 303.9kpa to atm by mutiplying by (1/101.3) = 3atm

    Plug in:

    1.5 (1) = 3 (V2)

    V2=1/2 L
