    Mole fraction of solvent = mole of solvent/total moles conposed in the solution

    Total moles compsed in the solution = moles of glycerol + moles of ethanol

    Number of moles:

    Ethanol

    Molar mass of ethanol = (12*2) + (1*6) + 16

    = 46 g/mol.

    Mass of ethanol = density * volume

    = 0.7893 * 24.10

    = 19.022 g

    Moles = mass/molar mass

    = 19.022/46

    = 0.4135 mol.

    Glycerol

    Molar mass = (12*3) + (1*8) + (16*3)

    = 92 g/mol

    Moles = mass/molar mass

    = 1.31/92

    = 0.012 mol.

    Total moles in the solution = 0.012 + 0.4135
