    Answer: Moles HgO = 10.36 g / 216.59 g/mol = 0.048 the ratio between HgO and O2 is 2 : 1 moles O2 formed = 0.048 / 2 = 0.024 at STP one mole of any gas occupies 22.4 L Volume O2 = 0.024 x 22.4 L/mol = 0.54 L
