The NAT prevents unsolicited incoming packets due to the following reasons which are as follows:

The NAT protocol monitors everything sent out to the internet through computer in working LAN area.

From the NAT end, router will convert the address to the packet to internal computer and sends to the LAN.

The Nat does not protect other types of attacks due to these issue stated below:

In a Wi-Fi related issue in the open Network, an attacker can access the router up to some level, but NAT does not have the capacity of the actions that the attacker can produce.

    Explanation:

    Solution

Due to some reasons NAT prevents the unsolicited incoming packets.

NAT router links an internal private network to the internet

NAT protocol monitors everything sent out to the internet through computer in working LAN area. NAT table will store the address of the internal machine on the LAN and sent to outgoing packets destination IP address From the NAT end, router will convert the address to the packet to internal computer and sends to the LAN

Secondly NAT does not protect against other types of attacks due to the following given below:

In the case of Wi-Fi related issue in the open Network, an attacker can access the router up to some level, but NAT does not have the ability of the actions that the attacker can produce. NAT fail in the case of avert to unauthorized websites that can try to login in the router area.
