I believe World War II was totally necessary because if we had not fought Hitler the world would be an even more evil place. The level of killing and torture during that time was unbelievable off the charts and discusting. Hitler was a horrible man that needed to be stopped and I am glad as Americans we stood up to him and his reign. As bad as the world is today it could be worse and we need to be grateful to those that gave it all so we can still be free in this country.
