Imagine that you have been asked to speak at a pep rally for your high school's football team on the day of a big game. You will be in front of the entire student body and will be tasked with celebrating the team's past wins and the skills of the coach and players in a 5 - 10 minute presentation. List at least 4 of the characteristics of public speaking (ie. message, channel, noise, audience, context, and delivery) that you should be most concerned with in preparing for this speech and explain why.

    The audience is also important since they will receive the message. It is important to take in consideration things like how ready the audience is to listen what they have to.

    Finally, delivery is also very important since it will be the moment when the message and audience encounter each other. For this, the speaker might want to take in consideration non-verbal signs, such as volume, intonation, how he moves his hands, and so on, and how they can be manipulated to be the most proper for a talk at a pep rally.
