The correct answer is B) it ends with the raven forever tormenting him as he is doomed to be sorrowful forever.

He states that the Raven said he will never ever see her and it ends with him having to live his entire life with the raven standing there and repeating it. He loses grasp of reality and doesn't even know whether the raven is there or just a figment of his imagination.
