    A. One is a large business, and the other is a volunteer organization.

    Utilitarian organization is the organization identified as a large business while Normative organization is identified as a volunteer organization.

    Utilitarian organization retains control of its members through bartering. People who join the utilitarian organization are there for their personal gain. The culture of said organization is one who focuses on productivity of its members and purpose as a whole. Businesses are utilitarian organizations because people working in the business are tasked responsibilities and are paid compensations.

    Normative organization is a volunteer organization. People join this organization because they want to or because they have a moral sense of obligation wherein they want to give back to the society by volunteering their time and expertise.
