Although Levi never states it explicitly in "On the Bottom," what should the reader infer has happened to the women?

    C.) They have been killed.

    Explanation:

Levi uses it to show that, in the camp, everyone was meant to to be killed irrespective of gender. This could be seen when he asked the guard "why he did this", to which the guard tells him, "There is no why here."

This made Levi to realizes that this is the meaning of an extermination camp, to rid one of themselves.
