What is the short summary of Famous Last Words by Katie Alender?

The novel tells a story of a young girl living in Los Angeles with her mom, and her new husband after her father died. She is living with a ghost in her home and she has a best friend who is obsessed with a notorious serial killer stalking L. A. She isn't over her father's death, because it happened only two years prior to leaving Connecticut. She doesn't feel like she has anyone to turn to when she needs to express her feelings about her situation. She begins to think that she's going crazy as she sees weird things in her house. News begins to break that there's a serial killer on the loose in her general area, and she's terrified due to the things she's seeing in her house. Her friends figure out that the ghost in her house is a girl named Paige, who was murdered by the killer, and horrified, she finds out that her step father was the murderer. Paige saves Willa from death by her step father, and he is then arrested. Willa finally found peace with herself, as much as a teenage girl could who lost her father and was almost murdered.
