Why is it not useful to look around the room when listening to a speech

A. It is useful

B. Looking at other things can cause your mind to make connections leading to another train of thought

C. If you concentrate on looking you won't be able to listen as well

D. You must always look at someone's lips when they're talking to fully understand them

    It says why NOT. So that rules out A. And you are giving the speech. That rules out the other 2.
