What is the meaning of the Renaissance

It was when their was revial art and literature in classical models in the 14 throguh 16 century

The Renaissance, coming from the French word "rebirth" was just that, the revival, or rebirth of classical Roman and Greek ideas such as writing and art. The renaissance included such things as humanism, exploration, a focus on the physical world, and much more.
