The Kazakhs people were tied up with the Uighur people in the parts of china because they have similar looks to those of the Mongolians since 1991. Later Kazakhstan became a collective republic. This was an important step, but the pace was neglected during the times of collective

Joseph, in the presence of Kazakhstan exiled many prisoners, including the brutal gulags under Kazakhstan, who repatriated several people from different ethnicities. This was therefore done with the collectives of the Union.

The Soviet Union was comprised of lot of countries, with Russia being the one in charge of them all. Central Asia was a region that fully fell under Soviet control, thus Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan with it too.

The lives of the people in these two countries changed dramatically since their countries fell under Soviet control:

Both the Kazakh and Kyrgyz people were mostly nomadic herders, but the Soviets made the people to have a sedentary lifestyle and to either work on the plantations or in the factories. Despite being Turkic people, the Kazakh and Kyrgyz people adopted lot of Slavic cultural traits. The alphabet too was influenced, so these two people adopted the Cyrlic alphabet despite it not being suitable for the sounds of the Turkic languages. The nationalistic feeling was gradually losing ground during the prime years of Soviet rule, which led to lot of people to assimilate. The names and surnames of the people got heavily influenced, with implementation of Russia suffixes on the surnames, or using Slavic names instead of Kazakh and Kyrgyz ones.
