How does adams's reaction to the rebellion differ from jefferson's?

    Adams felt that the rebellion was reckless, where as Jefferson felt that the rebellion was not a big deal. Jefferson felt that the participators of the rebellion should be dealt with lightly and not receive harsh punishment, and Adams felt that they should be punished for their lack of principles.
