    This is called sharing opinions. During this procedure, the justices share which party they have ruled in favor of for the particular case and they explain their reasoning for the decision. If fewer than all nine justices agreed on the ruling, a disagreeing justice may issue a dissent, explaining their disagreement with the majority.
