The Greeks and the Romans, though different in their way of seeing religion and philosophy, gave meaning to their world through polytheism, having a Pantheon of gods and goddesses that at present, are confused (coming to create the term Greece-Roman), since both cultures had very similar beliefs, like the Roman gods, the same as the Greeks but of different names. Both believed that the gods influenced the life, triumph and failure of the human being, and made sacrifices to satisfy the gods or earn their favors. In addition, scientific and logical thought was key to they development, although the Greek sought philosophy and understanding the universe, while the Roman was practical and created laws and norms.
