Muhammad is the definitive and only Prophet of Allah. The Koran, the Islamic Holy Book, was revealed to him exclusively. Muslims are supposed to believe this dogma uncritically. So the principles established by God in the Holy Koran and Muhammad's teachings are the foundation of the Islamic religion. No other religious leader can be above Muhammad and no one can take his role.
