Hunger Marches:
Hunger Marches were protest walks of the people carried out to express their grief about extreme unemployment that was there in England during the early 1900s.
Marches like the Jarrow March of 1938 are referred to as Hunger March. The people walking in these marches were usually the unemployed men and women who sought the government to take steps to generate more employment in the country. These marches often led to the Parliament in London.
