schools do have a duty to provide reasonable supervision of students and maintain the safety of the school grounds, especially since students are required to be at school under compulsory attendance rules.

I feel like school officials should have to take care of students safety.

Explanation:

Because that is their job ... If school officials cannot take care of their students then I feel that they are not fit to work in a school environment.
