What were the only tools the Egyptians had in order to build the pyramids?

    The Egyptians utilized tunnels and caverns to remove these deposits in large blocks, then chiseled into smaller blocks for transport. A layer of mud from the Nile was used to facilitate the move of these blocks to the pyramid site, a very ingenious solution to a very heavy problem.
