Importance of Miranda rights:
Miranda Rights are important because they allow the one who is accused to know about his right to have an attorney well versed in law to defend him, his right to remain silent, and his right to a fair and speedy court trial.
Miranda rights are an amalgamation two distinct parts. The first part is of a warning issued to the accused as to whatever he says can be and will be used against him during the course of the trial. The second part refers to making the accused aware of his rights.

Miranda rights are named for the famous Supreme Court case, Miranda v. Arizona, the rights do not have their origin in that case. Rather, the rights that we refer to as the Miranda rights are constitutional rights which the court, in Miranda v. Arizona, decided needed to be provided to certain people in police custody.
