Why were the British soldiers stationed in the colonies in 1763

    The reason that British soldiers were stationed in the colonies is, so that they could keep the rebellion of people to a minimum and therefore the people had to give up their beds so that the soldiers had somewhere to sleep and the women of the houses had to cook whatever the British soldiers wanted.
