    The Hindus venerate the cow because it is a symbol that represents God in their pantheon. They sees the cow as an animal that must be regard with feeling of respect and reverence, it is an exalted animal which must be given all the honour it deserved, It is an animal the Hindus adore most of all the animals, in the sense that, the cow is seen as sacred to them which in all ways must be protected with everything they had.

    The killing of cow in the Hindus society is a taboo, it will be met with the greatest resistance by them. The cow is placed in exalted position among all the animal this account for the reason they do not eat cow, in addition, they also sees cow as an animal that is not selfish in itself because it gives you in return more than what has been given to the cow such as milk, butter, cheese, urine, and dung all these which are produced by the cow are more useful to human beings. They are also of the opinion that no other animals give human beings a quarter of what cow will give human beings in terms of returns.
