The assumption that religion is only a barrier to make people compete. The above case which becomes anxious and degrades religious and cultural values requires the regulation of interpretation of religious texts. Reactulisation of religious values is needed to prevent the culture from fading out. Ironically, at this time religion gave a radical resistance to modernization above. Modernization has an interrelated relationship with religion. Modernization in the presence of secularization will exclude religion and on one hand rationalize religion into a life that is not only involved in a vertical relationship. In many ways modernization and globalization has resulted in people being able to remotely access ideas that were otherwise non existent in the area they inhabit. Hence religions are more diverse in manymy settlements than say 50 years ago. It has also caused the birth or new religions as a result of communication of people with different beliefs. It has also caused a fall in the beliefs in certain religions due to people having access to other ideology with they believe are more corresponding with their beliefs and not simply what has been passed down generations within their household.
