The Revolutionary War wasn't necessary inevitable, the idea of war seemed popular, but was mainly the rebels and or the British Army firing first, at the event called, the Shot Heard 'Round the World. But many famous people at the first Continental Meeting wanted a peaceful way to secede, but King George wouldn't let the Americans leave. If King George didn't have a stone heart, then there would've yes been some anger about not showing the world that the Americans are a nation to fear, but a more peaceful approach would have happened, but that is a very slim chance of that happening. Many were prepared to fight, if necessary, just to get their voices heard.
