Living in a section of a country where outside powers are above the law

Rule of law as a definition is the absolute supremacy or predominance of the law, over both the rulers, the ruled and external forces.

Any country that allows a section of people to be above the law is disregarding this principle. While serving politicians, ambassadors have diplomatic immunity, any offence they must have committed while in office will be investigated and dealt with once their tenure is over.

This principles applies to the masses and external forces too, except the external force is an ambassador from another country or another diplomat with diplomatic immunity. Otherwise, nobody is above the law, and if some people seem to break the law and get away with it, then they are grossly disregarding the rule of law.
