Compare and contrast European and Indian views on property.

The Europeans and the Indians had different attitudes when it came to the property of the land. The Europeans looked at the property as owned by them in every manner. They were not taking in consideration the damage they can do to it, as well as to the environment, and its long term well-being. Also, the Europeans were not only using their land for producing food for themselves, but they also used for planting crops that were not even for eating, but they for sale. The Indians, on the other hand, viewed the property as part of the nature, and they saw the nature as their mother, as it was providing them with everything for their survival. The Indians only used the land for gaining enough food for their needs, nothing more, and they were trying to make it as sustainable as possible.
