    Charles Dana Wilber is an author, journalist and land speculator who believed that the Trans Mississippi West was destined for agrarian development though it is a desert. He also has a vision for settlement of Nebraska and founded the town of Wilber, Nebraska as the result of his inspiration from Thomas Jefferson who is known for his reserve manner and eloquent writing style as he made the draft of the constitution for Virginia.
