    Fascism is opposite to democracy in the sense that Fascism talks about centralized control, state above the individual but in democracy the individuals are free to choose their government and people are placed first.

    Explanation:

    In the year 1925 Benito Mussolini established fascist regime. The term Fascist is derived from the Italian word fascia which means a bundle of sticks which represents strength and unity.

    The Fascist advocate the concept of one-party, complete control of nation and economy as a whole. It emphasizes on nationalism and militarization or military rule, racial and ethnic superiority

    Fascism and Nazism are said to be similar in the sense that they both considered the state to be above the individual.
