What were the challenges to slavery? What did Jefferson think about this?

    Early in his career Jefferson had taken a leadership role in pushing slavery onto the political agenda in the Virginia assembly and the federal Congress.

    like most Virginia planters, he endorsed the end of the slave trade.

    so how do I think Jefferson really feel about slavery?

    I think if he could have stopped it he would have stopped it.

    I think Jefferson order them to end slavery. because he felt it wasn't right for white people to take advantage of another person just cause there color.
