Do you believe that individual freedom still exist today or is it just something creative to make people believe they are free? Explain

I belive that some people belive its free just because they don't want to feel hurt again and deal with the society we live in full of fake people who will just stab you in the back. their is no such freedom today not any more. some people just can't free their emotions how they feel and their just trapped knowing that life is just full of people who are rude, mean, fake and useless to the planet.
